Brittney works as a transition consultant/advocate and a cofounder at Thrive Advocacy Group.  Brittney has a focus on transition services and helping families navigate the complex process of planning for the future including accessing services after leaving school age programming.

Since 2014, Brittney has spent her time working at a financial institution where she supported families with children of varying levels of disability and needs. In her role, she developed programming to assist families with accessing supports and services for their loved ones within their community. This programming included information about SSI/SSDI, waivers, housing, employment, and independent living that ultimately coordinated with their overall estate and retirement planning needs.

Upon graduating with her bachelor’s degree from West Chester University in 2012, Brittney began her career as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS), where she provided support to clients with behavioral health concerns and assisted them in achieving the goals within their treatment plan. Brittney then transitioned to a Blended Case Manager with Devereux. Brittney focused on finding resources for the families she supported to bridge the gap between home, community, and the school-based environment. From there, Brittney began working as a Supports Coordinator with the Intellectual Disability and Autism waivers in Pennsylvania where she assisted families in locating, coordinating, and monitoring services.

Brittney recently completed her M.B.A. from Eastern University and is certified Chartered Special Needs Consultant (CHSNC) – The American College of Financial Services, 2018
